Hi, guys and gals! Please let me know where and what time you plan on meeting Saturday at Soaring Wings. I am getting really excited and have already started losing sleep over it!!! I can't wait!!!
Oh, and Geary, I would STRONGLY reconsider bringing a leash. You don't want to suffer the consequences!!! |

Ok,
I didn't really want to tell you this, but the leash is not to slow you down, the truth of the matter is i need it so you can pull me up those hills and make me run faster
Im excited too. Its my 1st half |

Geary, you don't need me to pull you up any hills or make you run faster. You are a great runner, and I look forward to running more hills with you as we train for the Little Rock half!
It has been fun training for Soaring Wings. I think it will be a great first half for many of us! |

I would have loved to have visited with you all MORE after the race--but we were so slow, by the time we finished-- you all were probably already back to Batesville, showered and watching the Razorbacks............ _________________ "Impossible is a word we created to make ourselves feel better about not trying." |

Wow! Good job to all those WR roadrunners and all the Batesville people that ran the half today. Big congrats to the first time 1/2 marathoners - Patty, Geary, Gia, and Dwayne (hope I didn't forget anyone). They did a great job today.
I owe a special thank you to Geary and Gia for dragging this old lady to the finish today. I never would have finished as well today if it hadn't been for the two of you! _________________ Finish with a smile! |

Nice to finally meet DwayneD a.k.a. guy-with-the-best-avatar, AND be re-introduced to Geary. I'll look for you both at future races. _________________ "Impossible is a word we created to make ourselves feel better about not trying." |

| I can remember Jennifer Dorris telling me what a great race the Soaring Wings was for her. She told me how well organized it was! I know I want to run it again next year. The weather was perfect, the course was great, and the company was very exciting. Patty was so excited, it wore off on me! What a stride that gal has! I had to run twice as fast to keep up with her. If she can run like that with an injury, what's she going to be like, when she's all healed???? Gia and I managed to find everywhere we were suppose to go, although we had to backtrack a few times. I wasn't as much help, as I should have been. We were both glad we got a good night's sleep the night before. All the new runner's had awesome times, especially for their first half! I know Dana enjoyed running with Gia and Geary, as much as I did running with Patty! I know they'll all be passing me SOON!!!! Great job everyone! |
