Sara Low 5k Startline 2009

Sara Elisabeth Low was a flight attendant on American Airlines flight 11, the first plane to crash into the North Tower, World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.  Sara grew up in Batesville, AR.  She ran track and her team won a state title in 1989.  The 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 Batesville Girls AAAA State Track champs from Batesville High wear a screen printed logo of the “Sara Low Pin” on their uniforms.

This is the Sara Low Memorial in front of the Batesville Junior High School.

Race starts a little before the Sara Low Memorial at the Junior High and finish on the Track about the 50 yard line. Plenty of seating in the stands for people to cheer you on. The race will be led by members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA), Chapter H out of Batesville.

$15.00  (pre-registered) $20.00 day of race
T-Shirts to all pre-registered runners/walkers. On day of race, we'll pass them out until they run out.
